Holiday Slow Write

This week in class we wrote a slow write about our favourite part of the holidays. I did a lot in the holidays so it was quite hard to choose what I should write about. But obviously I wrote about the one and only... CODY!!! Here is my slow write. I hope you enjoy and don't forget to leave some feedback or feedforward!

🐎AWESOME HORSE-OME🐎

WOOHOO! I am so excited for the glorious holidays. I can hear the sound of freedom and see no teachers. I can’t wait to ride. Slowly, I walk into the paddock to catch Cody. Will he run away this time? Although he doesn’t usually run away, he might just this time. Cody is the most adorable, majestic, kind horse ever. Why is it that I love Cody so much? NEIGH!

Science Fair

This term we have been doing lots of science. We made a project on a topic of our choice. I did my science fair on what keeps cotton dryer for longer. The waterproofings I used were beeswax and Tarrago Universal Waterproofing Spray. My science board is over in the hall ready to be shown. I lied doing this project because it was very hands-on and fun. Creating my board and making it look spectacular was really fun because I love decorating. I stuck small bees around the board and made them pop out from the board by using big chunks of bluetack. Science this term was really fun, and I'm very proud of my project. Below is the slideshow I made with everything that has gone onto my board. I hope you enjoy. Don't forget to comment if you have any questions or feedback for me...

Aurora Leadership Workshop

Over the past 2 months Amelia and I have been going to Aurora Leadership Workshops. The project we are working on this year is fundraising for PLanet Sunshine, the children's ward at the hospital. We are fundraising for them because, sometimes they are short of equipment so we are going to buy some for them, they playground and play equipment there is very limited with only a small slide. Amelia and I have already raised $240 for Planet Sunshine with our School dress-up day. We had a fun time raising the money and all the kids at our school really enjoyed being able to wear a costume for a day. AT the end of August we are going to present the equipment and money to Planet Sunshine.

Recipe To Success!

This week we made a Recipe to Success. The recipe had to include what we were good at or what we needed to work on. I chose what I am good at. My recipe includes my strengths like, respect, kindness, humor, love and much more. Everything on there represents me. I made a collage on paper to stick my words on and I'm very happy with the result. I think the colours I chose for the collage really represent me and look good with the words. You probably can't read the words on the collage so I'll write them down below.
