CROSS COUNTRY!!!

Today we had our school cross country. I raced against my year group and we had to do two giant laps of the sand dunes. Our run altogether is 1 and a half kilometers. I came third today and I thought I did really well. I really improved from last year, even though I came second last year, because, I didn't walk at all and didn't almost faint. There is one word I would say about my success.

PROUD!

The Water Cycle

In class last week we were making a water cycle slideshare. We are going to share it with our buddy classes and tell them about the water cycle. Here is my water cycle share. I hope you enjoy and learn about the water cycle.

Colour Day!!

On Tuesday we had an amazing Colour day. Every class had a different colour and everyone looked spectacular! My classes colour was purple and there was lots of different costumes. Some people dressed up as grapes and others just went in purple clothes. Together our school raised $300. We are very proud of what we raised and all the people who were in their amazing colours. Water Worries.

This week we are reading about Water Worries. We will be completing a task about it as well. We are making a slideshare that we will present to our buddy class at the end of the week. My slideshare is about the Water Cycle and how it works. It's not quite finished yet so I won't show it, but when it is I will definitely share it. I can't wait to show it. 👍

Book Review. The Floods- The Great Outdoors.

A few weeks ago we started a book review. I read the book the Floods- The Great Outdoors. It was a really great book and I enjoyed reading it. I can't explain to much because the review will do the rest.
I hope you enjoy it! 😄
Don't forget to comment some feedback or feedforward as well!

The Wonderling

This term we are reading a book called The Wonderling. The book is about a creature called Number 13 who lives in Mrs Carbuncles Home for mislead creatures, which is more like a prison. Number 13 is a fox like creature with only one ear. He has special hearing but he gets teased. We have been doing responses every time we read a chapter. I would definitely recommend this book even though I haven't
read much. It is sad but great.... I will keep you posted on this book.

Action Stations!

This term our inquiry focus is ACTION STATIONS! You may have seen us at the Hamanatua stream on Tuesday mulching and weeding the plants. It took most of the day, but we got it done. Afterwards the School came down to the beach and we had a picnic and a play at the beach. Look out for us doing some environmental projects around! Hannah and I are also doing a project that is top secret, be ready for something big! Here are some photos from weeding.

One Word

This term we wrote about one word that describes what we think we need to work on. I chose the word risk-taker because I think I don't challenge myself enough in my learning. My class will hold me accountable to my word and make sure that I take risks to challenge myself. Here is my one word slide! I hope you enjoy....

Hello, It's Me

This monday we found out who our Tuhi Mai Tuhi Atu class is. They shared with us an intro about themselves, so we made an intro about ourselves. The intro had to share who we are, what we like doing and much, much more!!! Making the intro was really fun because we got to make it look however we wanted as long as we had everything it needed. Here is my slide. I hope you like...
