Visitor of the Ages

Today we had a surprise visitor come into our class. This person is the Mayor of Gisborne. His name is Mayor Meng Foon. He speaks fluent Maori and has been on the news. We asked him some questions about his job and asked us some questions about what we have been doing for our Project Hamanatua Stream. This is our class photo with him.

Hamanatua Stream

This term our inquiry focus is ACTION STATIONS! My group focus has been on painting a mural. Sadly we have had the no-go due to health and safety reasons. Next Term we will be having an open day to show what we have done. Here are some photos.

Water Worries.

This week we are reading about Water Worries. We will be completing a task about it as well. We are making a slideshare that we will present to our buddy class at the end of the week. My slideshare is about the Water Cycle and how it works. It's not quite finished yet so I won't show it, but when it is I will definitely share it. I can't wait to show it. 👍

The intro had to share who we are, what we like doing and much, much more!!! Making the intro was really fun because we got to make it look however we wanted as long as we had everything it needed. Here is my slide. I hope you like...
